We took a trip to Kansas City last month. My photos all came from that. We didn't really get out much other than that.

Growing up in Kansas this was a common sight. Just driving to a town with a mall involved 30 minutes one these roads. I like these roads. Some find them boring but there is something about them I find super interesting. There's so much to see.

Looking straight down a long interstate road with rolling hills and clouds over head.

Looking straight down the road, wisping clouds over head.

This was the playground I lived next to growing up. I still remember when this slide was installed. It made the front page of our town's newspaper.

In the middle of a course sandpit surrounded by green grass is a tall twirling slide

Looking out over Troost Ave. towards downtown Kansas City.

Looking from the top floor of a building on 31st and Troost. Cars stopped at the intersection. The Kansas City downtown skyline is on the horizon

This building has a lot of special meaning for our family.

Looking up from the corner of the brick building. The sign for Thelma's Kitchen in the bottom.

During our time there we stayed on my in laws farm.
